One Underwriting is an Australian managing general agency, providing insurance and risk management solutions and markets to a network of licensed general insurance brokers. One Underwriting, previously Freeman McMurrick, was established in 1975 by Geoff Freeman and John McMurrick. It was bought by Aon in 2006. The One Underwriting brand, which began on 1 January 2016, focuses on specialist areas, such as motor; plant and construction; hospitality and leisure; aviation; niche liability; and complex risk property and liability.
