Voting for board of directors 2025 – 2027

I refer to my previous emails 12 & 18 November advising the details for the AGM and the voting form and bios of nominees for 2025 – 2027.

As a valued voting member, your input is essential in helping shape the future of UAC. The board elected through this process will play a critical role in driving our agenda and advocating for the needs of our members.

If you have not submitted your voting forms, please do so by 10:00 am AEDT Monday 2 December 2024.

The Underwriting Agencies Council (UAC) Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on Thursday 5 December 2024.

All UAC members are welcome to attend. Please advise traceyclaridge@uac.org.au if attending as numbers are limited and we need to cater for attendees and advise dietary requirements.

Venue of AGM: Doltone House – Hyde Park, The Manhattan Room, Level 3, 181 Elizabeth Street, Sydney.
Time: 10:30 am – 11:00 am arrival and registration
AGM: 11:00 am – 12:30 pm

The Order of Business will be:

• Chair’s address
• CEO report
• Adoption of the Financial Report
• Election of five directors
• Other business

There are eight nominees to fill five vacancies on the board. The five directors elected will serve a 3 year term, however we do have one position vacant for 1 year term this year.

The nominees (in the order in which they appear on the voting paper) are:

• Rowan Watson – St George Underwriting Agency
• Peg Reuben-Hull – Insurance Investment Solutions
• Amalie Borthwick – Insurance Investment Solutions
• Anita Lane – Solution Underwriting
• Peter Klemt – PassportCard Australia
• Jason Clarke – 360 Underwriting Solutions
