One of the most important things we can do as an organisation is support our members’ businesses and, importantly, their people. I’m proud to share that UAC has launched a new national Employee Assistance Program (EAP), delivered in partnership with Procare.
This is a free and confidential support service now available to all UAC members and their staff. Whether your business already has internal support in place or not, this initiative is designed to complement or stand alone as a valuable wellbeing option.
The EAP provides up to three counselling sessions per person, covering a wide range of personal and professional challenges. It’s available nationally and is another way we’re building on our Strategic Plan’s Viable and Connected pillars —ensuring all members, regardless of size or structure, have access to support when they need it most. As always, our commitment is to listen, learn and act. That’s why we’re inviting you to take part in our latest member survey. Your insights are vital to shaping UAC’s future direction — from advocacy and industry representation to new services and initiatives. Share your feedback here
Previous survey results have directly informed our strategic focus areas, from insurer capacity advocacy to digital enablement. This latest round is another opportunity for you to be heard — and for UAC to keep improving on the things that matter most to you.
We’ll be sharing the findings later this year and, as always, turning that feedback into action. It’s one of the most rewarding parts of this role — learning what matters most to you and helping shape an environment where underwriting agencies can thrive.
Thank you for being such a valued part of this community. There is real power in what we can achieve together.
