The Council of Queensland Insurance Brokers Inc. (CQIB) is an incorporated not for profit mutual association representing General Insurance Brokers who are Queensland owned and based.
Our current activities have seen over 2000 CPD training points allocated to attendees across 6 locations in QLD, convention with 250 attendees, 4 all industry events with over 1000 attendees. Our CPD training site and the CQIB All Rounder Awards held in June each year.
Since its establishment in 1980, The Council’s focus is to develop the skills and knowledge of member organizations to continually improve the level of professionalism of the Industry. CQIB is solely reliant on membership from brokers and business partners to fund our activities. CQIB is unique because it is locally focused and is inclusive of business partners who play a vital role in our industry.
CQIB presently stands as the representative body for over 49 insurance brokers, with a workforce of approximately 1000 professionals spread across more than 88 offices in Queensland.
