Jodie’s insurance career began in 2007 with Liberty International Underwriters, specialising in General Liability. In 2013, her skillset was broadened through a move into the financial lines division of a large London-backed agency, underwriting Professional Indemnity, Directors & Officers Liability, and Cyber risks.

In 2016, Jodie joined About Underwriting as one of the founding members, where she currently holds the position of Underwriting Manager. Her responsibilities at About include underwriting and developing the company’s General Liability, Property, and Professional Risks binders and portfolios. 
Jodie oversees a small team and enjoys leading and mentoring the next generation of Underwriters with a strong focus on technical principals and developing a profitable and sustainable portfolio.

Jodie holds a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Business in Finance & Management and was the recipient of a Young Gun award in 2018. Jodie was recently honoured to attend the 2025 Lloyd's Development Group Study tour in Asia gaining invaluable insurance and reinsurance insights.
Based in Brisbane, Jodie services brokers nationwide, combining technical expertise with a relationship-driven approach to deliver tailored solutions across the Australian insurance market.

Outside of work, Jodie enjoys spending time outdoors, travelling, hiking and horse riding.
