Mental health challenges can affect anyone, and workplaces often play an important role in recognising when someone may be struggling and connecting them with the right support. This session will explore current mental health trends, the signs to look out for, how to start supportive conversations, and the role leaders can play in creating healthier, more supportive workplaces.

- Recognise common signs and behaviours that may indicate someone is experiencing mental health challenges.
- Apply practical approaches for starting respectful and supportive conversations about mental health.
- Understand the role managers and leaders can play in supporting employee wellbeing and creating psychologically safe workplaces.
- Recognise when additional support may be appropriate and how to refer employees to services such as EAP and Manager Assist.
- Identify practical ways organisations, including smaller businesses, can encourage early intervention, reduce stigma and normalise conversations about wellbeing.
