CRAWFORD & COMPANY® APPOINTS NEW AUSTRALIA PRESIDENT With 30+ years of industry experience, Jonathan Hubbard takes the reins ATLANTA (July 31, 2023): Crawford & Company® (NYSE: CRD-A and CRD-B) has appointed Jonathan Hubbard as president, Australia, to take effect from August 21, 2023. The announcement comes as current president, Tim Jarman, prepares to retire at the end of the year, following a 43-year career in the insurance industry including 15 years with Crawford®. Andrew Bart, CEO of International Operations, said he was particularly pleased to make the appointment from within the Australian business: “Having been with Crawford for over seven years, Jonathan brings intimate knowledge of the workings of our Australian business and the local market as well as a strong history in loss adjusting, plus a fresh perspective and eagerness to seize the growth opportunities across the broader claims management sphere.” With a background in specialty loss adjusting and business management, Hubbard joined Crawford in 2016 as head of business improvement, before being elevated to chief client officer. For the past five years he has worked as one of Crawford’s most senior executive adjusters within Crawford Global Technical Services®. Prior to his time at Crawford, Hubbard spent 21 years at a competing national loss adjusting business where he held various senior management roles. Hubbard is a chartered loss adjuster and a former director of the Australasian Institute of Chartered Loss Adjusters. “Jonathan has a proven track record of developing and growing business lines and their associated teams, with a focus on quality, technical ability and customer service excellence. In addition, Jonathan’s knowledge of our operation in Australia ensures a smooth and successful leadership transition,” Bart added. Hubbard said: “The Australian business is well placed with successful property and specialty loss adjusting teams. We also have our managed repair service, Crawford Contractor Connection® which has been around for 10 years in Australia, as has CRD Building Consultants & Engineers and Crawford TPA, and then more recently we brought legal services into the One Crawford claims solution with the acquisition of HBA Legal®. Our foundations are strong, and we have an enviable value proposition. I look forward to working with our terrific team as we further enhance our services to continue meeting and exceeding client expectations. “In the months and years ahead, I also see it as critical to locally embed some of the excellent technology solutions built by Crawford around the world, which are operating very successfully. I am committed to accelerating innovation, with digital that simplifies, to make the claims process quicker and easier – this is key to client and policyholder satisfaction,” Hubbard said. Bart noted: “We have an excellent pool of talent internally which stems from our well-established leadership development programs, so it is very satisfying to be able to promote from within for what is a key role within our international operations. I have the utmost confidence in Jonathan to successfully build on the superb work done by Tim Jarman, as we take Crawford Australia to the next level and continue restoring lives, businesses and communities.” About Crawford® Based in Atlanta, Crawford & Company (NYSE: CRD-A and CRD-B) is a leading global provider of claims management and outsourcing solutions to insurance companies and self-insured entities with an expansive network serving clients in more than 70 countries.
