At AIM Insurance Services, we offer a personalised service to insurers who understand and appreciate the benefit and need to give their policy holders a better claims experience.

We recognise the needs of the insurer and insured and by providing the best service and solutions, we ensure minimal claim spend and the optimal chance of having policy holders renew each year.

A mature and qualified approach combined with efficiency and flexibility serves to authenticate the value of having a loss adjuster manage each claim.

We appreciate the importance of the broker/insurer/insured relationship and through constant and open communications, ensure clarity of the status of a claim to all parties.

Insurance Loss Adjusting

Classes of claim include the following:

  • Domestic claims (fire, burglary, water, impact, accidental damage etc.)
  • Landlord claims
  • Strata claims
  • Small – medium commercial property claims
  • Business interruption claims

Catastrophe Claims

We have a dedicated CAT manager who ensures all Catastrophe claims are well planned and organised. This allows adjusters to assess in the most efficient way and action claims rapidly – imperative during CAT conditions. We can source adjusters from interstate for greater resources if required and where appropriate, always involve brokers in the process.

We will also engage our in-house building inspectors to attend the site visits with the adjuster so that they can rapidly assess and create a scope of works for builders to quote on. This also streamlines the claim process.

Geographical Reach

We have loss adjusters in all states (other than NT) with the team located primarily in metro areas. We also have an adjuster in central NSW and northern QLD. The mobile nature of the team however means that remote and rural areas can be covered by appointment and additional cost for this are always discussed and approved prior.

Major Loss Assessing

Through dual approach to any major loss, the loss adjuster and building inspector will attend the site simultaneously. While the adjuster supports the insured with the emotional aspect of the claim, the building inspector will assimilate the scope of works to the fullest detail to allow requests for tenders to be submitted to builders straight away. In this way, the speed in which quotes are received is maximised while the length of time before works start can be minimised.

Furthermore, with the adjuster being able to concentrate on organising accommodation, emergency payments and contents replacement, the policyholder perceives their claim is being prioritised to the highest level.

Insurance Valuations

Insurers and insureds alike sometimes need to establish the value of the property they are looking to cover. We can provide an insurance valuation based on the latest building rates by assessing the physical size of the property combined with the build quality level. We then factor in other elements at the property to provide a value at risk to ensure the appropriate level of cover.
