In late May, UAC asked agency member principals to complete a survey for Business Service member Clyde & Co about their experiences in the Covid-19 pandemic and what they expect the future of insurance will look like.

The survey shows what respondents think the ‘new normal’ will look like for the industry. The report explores:
- Key pressure points for the insurance industry going forward
- How will insurers and agencies be redesigned and transformed? What does that mean for their risk and financial profiles?
- How will Covid-19 affect businesses in particular sectors? What will be their appetite for risk?
- How will consumer demands and behaviours shift? Will that lead to a demand for new insurance products and services?
