Sydney Underwriting Expo

The annual Sydney Underwriting Expo is the Underwriting Agencies Council’s premier event, attracting more than 500 brokers in 2018. The Expo is the ideal opportunity for brokers to talk directly to UAC member agencies and Business Service members about their specialist products and services.
What’s new in 2019?
- A small theatrette within the Expo gives you the opportunity to capture a new audience with your offerings or provide training or a live demo. The theatrette will have seats and standing room, a raiser, a microphone and lectern, a screen and audio. Announcements will be made when the next presentation is due to start, including naming the host company. Only six 20 minutes are still available – reserve yours now, see ticketing below.
- Four individual member networking tables have been created. The tables are semi-private, offering opportunities for discussions with potential clients or business partners or invite clients to meet you onsite while catering is available. The tables have been organised around key catering times, so you have a choice of morning (AM), lunch, or afternoon (PM) slots. Ticketing is available below.
The Expo will be preceded by a breakfast with a guest speaker. Details and tickets TBA.
Broker, sponsor and exhibitor options
Brokers visiting the Expo
Entry for brokers is free and includes catering. Brokers are invited to register online (see below) and you will receive your entry ticket via email. Brokers can earn 2 NIBA CPD points but must use the UAC Events app and scan QR codes at a minimum of 40 exhibitor booths to qualify.

UAC members and exhibitors can buy either a single or double exhibition tables. Go through to the checkout below to book and pay for your table. Single tables include catering for two people, double tables include catering for four. You can purchase additional catering if you’re bringing more staff to your expo table. All additional staff at your table require the catering option.
The Hyatt Regency Sydney requires all exhibitors to complete the lift access form – click here to download it. Please return it to Justine.email@example.com; firstname.lastname@example.org; and Sydney.email@example.com before Friday 1 March.
All deliveries must have a label attached. Click here to download the delivery label. Please return it to the same three emails above. Deliveries will be accepted on Thursday 7 March and must be picked up by Saturday 9 March.

Catering will be 5-star hotel quality, including:
- Morning tea – selection of coffee and teas, freshly baked muffins and pastries
- Lunch – substantial quantities of food served buffet style and accompanied by alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
