UAC members considering exhibiting at the Sydney Underwriting Expo: please consider the current circumstances in your attending staff’s home state and be mindful of possible Covid-19 exposures.

COVID-19 REQUIREMENTS FOR EVENTS/EXPOS

  • Hyatt Regency will provide thermal imaging screening for all attendees.
  • Hyatt Regency will provide a QR code on entry to the Hotel. Red Team will assist with scanning (note there are numerous QR codes within the Hotel, the Event QR needs to be scanned for the Expo) by all attendees.
  • Hyatt Regency will provide multiple hand sanitiser stands throughout the expo space.
  • UAC will provide a 500ml bottle of hand sanitiser for each exhibitor table.
  • The venue will provide directional decals to ensure the flow of attendees and to control numbers within each expo space. Please comply with these instructions.
  • Brokers will select a specific time frame to visit the expo, please do not have lengthy discussions. If required, please arrange meetings outside the expo space.

Note: If the Sydney Underwriting Expo is cancelled due to Covid-19 revised restrictions, UAC will issue a full refund to exhibitors.

  • Two staff members can manage the expo table at any given time. Additional staff are welcome to support the event and swap out with team members.
  • Please don’t move tables or chairs as they have been placed according to social distancing requirements required for the event space.
  • Banners can be placed between tables. It is preferred to not have banners on tables.
  • Where practical, keep merchandise in its original packaging, this will assist in reducing excessive handling.  Additional items can be given to brokers on request.

Bump In: 0730 – 0830 – Hyatt Regency Security will not allow access prior to 0730 – please be respectful of the Hotel rules

Bump Out: 2:30pm

  • Please complete your registration details in full – don’t skip any fields.
  • Select a time frame to attend the expo: 8.30am-11.00; 11.30am-2.00pm. There are limited places available for each time frame.
  • Please arrive with sufficient time to scan Hyatt Regency event QR; thermal imaging screening and UAC Entry QR scan before accessing the expo.
  • Brokers are required to scan an Entry QR code and an Exit QR code (both are mandatory and will support contract tracing; lead reports and certificates for CPD points). These will be available at entry/exit points and provided by UAC Red Team support staff.
  • Announcements will be made when each time frame is due to expire and brokers in that time frame are required to leave the expo to enable the next group to enter.
  • UAC recommends Brokers download the UAC Events app in advance. This will assist with scanning Entry/Exit Codes; exhibitor QR codes and support allocation of CPD points.
  • If you have the app, select the wheel – top right of screen; change event tab; Sydney 2021 and complete your details
  • Directional decals and bollards will be placed within the event space to ensure one directional flow of traffic. This is to ensure numbers aren’t breached under current COVID-19 rules.
  • Ensure your camera is operational on both the UAC Events app and in your phone settings.
  • Paper passports WILL NOT be provided.
  • Promotional merchandise will be available from exhibitors. UAC encourages minimum handling of items.
