DESCRIPTION:Presenter: Max Broodryk – Founder and Executive Director \nAustralia’s insurance trading infrastructure — the systems where risk is priced\, bound and reported — is concentrated in ageing platforms at a moment when both incumbents face ownership upheaval. \nThis session examines what a modern system for an underwriting agency looks like and what it changes in practice: a broker’s submission read from the form rather than re-typed; straight-through quoting on deterministic rules\, so the same risk gets the same answer every time; automated referrals; built-in sanctions screening\, tax and billing; and a decision record that cannot be altered after the fact.
