Allstate Underwriting was established because limited farm insurance options were available after some major underwriters withdrew from the market, leaving customers facing uncertainly and increasing premiums.

A group of experienced regional brokers met in country NSW to find a permanent solution and Allstate was launched.

At that meeting were Trent Brown, who is Allstate’s Director of Distribution; and Grant Brokenshire, who was employed as CEO and Underwriting Manager due to his international exposure and farm underwriting experience in Australia.

Allstate works with its selected network of brokers to provide a leading farm policy.
